Mixed feelings about Packsaddle Roadhouse. We went there last Monday & they were very accommodating, polite and even made sure our dogs had water. Food was hot & served up quickly so it was a 5 star experience. Decided to stop there on the way back on the following day (which happened to be Melbourne Cup day in Victoria) but appeared only to be catering for locals. Stood at the bar for a while waiting patiently to be served as they were having what I thought were family photos taken so didn't interrupt. We were just after a hamburger & steak sandwich but were told they're not doing those but could do toasties. Not what we wanted. Our experience on that day was the polar opposite of the previous day so I can only really rate our overall experience 3 stars.

A little gem in the middle of nowhere! We stayed here for one night on our little adventure and can highly recccomend! The staff were super friendly, the beers nice and cold (it was super hot!) and if you need to stay the night you can get a little room to keep you safe from the outback (if you’re a city girl like me 🤣) They made us lovely meals and nothing seemed like too much trouble at all. The amenities were so clean and the sunset was pretty cool too! Me and my partner just want to say a big thanks to you guys! 🌵Adam & Lina :)

Definately worth a stop on your way through. Great hamburgers with the lot ... Lots to choose from. .Beer for the road and on tap .. great memoribilia throughout. . .. friendly service and always happy to assist ... Would definately stop in again

don’t judge a book by its cover, best roadhouse in australia it was an amazing experience i loved the steak and the chips and the staff were amazing! the beds were very comfy and i’d love to come back again when i drive back to broken hill.

Hospitality was great! Food was best we have had in the road. Meals are huge! Definitely drop in for a stop. We stopped and stayed overnight on a powered site. Ammenities very clean and well looked after.

Such a great stop. We had a delicious lunch and cold drink on our way through to Broken Hill. Really loved the atmosphere and clean amenities for customers. Definitely recommend!

Stopped in for a burger but couldn't stay long. Great food and very friendly staff. My only regret is not being able to stay longer. Looking forward to getting up there again.
